I know I said I'd update a lot but, unexpectedly, I ended up with more work than I initially thought I'd have this summer. ...Yay? Hahaha.

First of all, I'm actually interning (and updating this journal at work, hee). Yes that's right, I volunteered to be a slave even if Ateneo doesn't require it. Having already advanced a few of my classes last summer, I didn't need to do it this summer. I felt like it'd be such a waste if I spent it languishing at home reading pirated comics.

I'm not sure why the agency I'm interning at, Dual Action Blender has the same logo and font as Euro RSCG but from what I gather they're sister companies of some sort? Or we're under a branch of Euro RSCG? I dunno actually.



Here's me at the office with 3D glasses I found on the desk I work in. I'm only pretending to be thinking hard, because at the time I had finished workkk and submitted it to Mr. Boss Man, which is why I was updating this journal since I was pretty much free.

But then I got assigned more "homework" which is due tomorrow. Oh nooOoOoooo! But I'm learning so I guess it's all good. Also getting faster with Photoshop, which I haven't used heavily in a while, and getting faster at laying out my storyboards into grids on InDesign, haha.

Aside from that, I recently magically got the position of Design Ed. for Heights, our school's literary publication. Right now since school's out it's a lot of meetings meetings meetings as we lay out our plans for the year. It looks like it'll be a fun one, if anyone's reading this that's studying in Ateneo, join Heights even if not Design Staff!

Oh and I got around to moving stuff on my front page thing, and now the Shoutbox is in my profile where I can actually see it when I check DevArt. Hahaha!

HELLO! Yes, a journal entry after forever!

After turning in stuff for our Sir Ali class today, it's like I'm exhaling or something. Phewwww. What a hectic month. Since second semester is shorter than first semester, teachers seem to end up shoving all the work into late February and March, before finals week.

Still, Sir Ali's project was last, so I've had a bit of time to rest my brain in the past week or two. I spent it...reading shoujo manga. XD

I admit I expected it to be like those romance novels some of my classmates always read during class in high school, hahaha! I'm not a big manga reader but all the TV shows I was watching are between seasons, so I decided to give it a shot.



recommended Skip Beat and I really like it! I had to get used to the art, but soon I was totally sucked in. But it's still not complete nooo 130+ chapters out and she hasn't even confirmed that she likes him yet?? Same thing with Ouran HS Host Club (also really good), they're sure taking their time to confess to mutual like-ing.

Right now (like in another tab, haha) I'm reading Basara, so I shall get back to that now. I'll probably update with stuff I've done for school, and try to update way more often while I still have a subscription!

First of all, belated Merry Christmas and Advanced Happy New Year! DevArt still acts up on me, so I'm not sure I'll be able to post tomorrow, hahaha.

Christmas break has been nice so far, I really like sleeping in. I don't want to go back to school and to schoolwork!

Hope everyone got presents they liked and wanted--I haven't even finished opening my presents yet because we went to our place in Laguna for a short while after Christmas. So a lot of our presents are still under the tree. How sad.

Also, this isn't related to anything above, but sorry to anyone who might be reading this that I haven't added on Facebook, I only add people I know personally on that account.

Okay, while this is still working, quick update! I haven't been able to access DevArt for a week or two now, no idea why.

Although, I managed to sneak in the ICR logos but when I went to update my journal it didn't work again! Not that anything's happening really, just a lot of making blue eagle logos/mascots for homework. Boo

This is a boring entry, hahaha, sorry, I live a fairly boring life anyway

Went through stuff from this sem, dumping (some of) them here at last. Been too lazy to do it so this is long overdue, but now I'm taking a break from all the work and it seems a good time.
